ABOUT CHRISTINA

About Us

My mission is to empower successful, powerful women like you to find trust again after being hurt by people close to you, and have it all including love and deep relationships with people you love.

Trust After Trauma will help you cultivate new awareness about what’s blocking you from having the deep, connected relationships you want. This program is unique as it provides a multi-layered approach for the boss woman that has it all – except LOVE.

Most programs talk about how to be independent and self-sufficient and not depend on anyone – which leaves you in a similar predicament in the end.

This is a formula that doesn’t get you what you want – to be seen and have deep, nourishing connections.

Trust After Trauma is going to show you how to continue being the strong, boss woman you are and how to find your soft, vulnerable side without sacrificing your strength. The information is a breath of fresh air that gives you tools to live life in balance and how to walk with a new kind of power.

IF YOU’RE A WOMAN WHO HAS IT ALL EXCEPT LOVE AND WANTS DEEP, INTIMATE CONNECTIONS BUT FEELS BLOCKED IN THAT ONE AREA- I HAVE THE FORMULA:

Learn how to connect with your body differently +

Rediscover a new kind of strength and power in relating +

Begin healing the heart you’ve been protecting +

Feel the freedom of dropping the persona of strength you wear all the time

= A new, free, powerful and deeply connected to self and others YOU!!

Christina Mettert

Founder and Relational Trauma Coach

Trust After Trauma was founded by Christina Mettert in 2018, and is based on 25 years in the field of psychology that she developed over the past 12 years in her private practice. Christina has helped thousands of women feel more connected to their bodies and to the people they love but felt distant from.

Christina Mettert is an expert in helping people use past trauma to transform it into presence. She teaches people how to take past hurts and use them as wisdom and navigation tools in relating and walking through life.

Christina believes that once you feel strong and grounded in who you are and what you truly need (especially the secret needs you don’t share with anyone) you can begin to open and be more vulnerable with others. This is our greatest power and place to build deep intimacy and connection with people.

Christina is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist (MFT) and holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and has specialized in trauma work since 2004. She is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples, is an Alchemical Hypnotherapist and Co-Founder of podcast radio station “Afraid of the Dark.” (INSERT LINK HERE) She is also a published author for the book, “Intimacy for Powerful Women” (put in link from amazon/kindle here)
